NCDC Confirms 245 New Cases Of Coronavirus
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Thursday night confirmed two hundred and forty-five new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
The agency in a post on their official Twitter account confirmed the new cases bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 7261.
President Buhari Makes Fresh Appointment
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Professor Adamu Kyuka Usman as Chairman of Governing Board of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).
In a letter dated 15, May 2020 and signed by the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, Buhari said the appointment takes effect from May 14, 2020.

President Muhammadu Buhari has granted financial autonomy to the legislature and judiciary across the 36 states of the federation.
Naija News reports that the Nigerian leader granted the financial autonomy via a new executive order signed on Friday, May 22, a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter by the President revealed.

Again, Ogun State Extends Coronavirus Lockdown
Governor Dapo Abiodun has again extended the lockdown in Ogun State for one week in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
Governor Abiodun made this known while speaking to newsmen on Friday at the State’s Government House.
