The Department of State Services (DSS) has finally released Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the RevolutionNow Movement.
Naija News reports that Sowore was released on Thursday evening after spending 124 days in detention.
Meanwhile, several Nigerians have reacted to Sowore’s freedom as the development is coming after a court ruling asked for his release within the next 24 hours.
Reacting to the development, Amnesty International urged the Buhari government to drop all charges against Sowore and his accomplices.
The group stated that Sowore was detained because he exercised his freedom of expression hence all charges should be dropped against him.

After 126 days in DSS correctional section as oppose to the recommended 45days, I hope he now knows the difference between REVOLUTION and PROTEST.
