The Ogun State government has announced a final decision on the resumption of schools in the state amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The state government in a statement on Monday by Kunle Somorin, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun announced the approval for schools to resume as from Monday, September 21, 2020.
Nigeria’s Minister Of Education ‘Adamu Adamu Is Sick’, Flown Abroad
The Minister of Education in Nigeria, “Adamu Adamu is sick” and is currently in a hospital in Berlin, Germany, treating an undisclosed ailment.
A report monitored on SaharaReporters by Naija News says the Minister of Education is said to be having a kidney problem and undergoing a procedure but it was not totally clear at the time of this report what particular ailment he was being treated for in Germany where he has been reportedly flown to.
Malami vs EFCC: Magu Tables Fresh Request Before Salami Panel
Ibrahim Magu, the suspended chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has tabled a fresh request before the Justice Ayo Salami probing him.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had mandated the panel to investigate the former EFCC boss after the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami recommended his removal over allegations of corruption.
