94 Stranded Nigerian Girls Return From Lebanon

The Federal Government on Nigeria on Wednesday welcomed at least 94 Nigerian girls stranded in Lebanon due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

The development was announced by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM.

NIDCOM in a post on Twitter noted that the evacuees arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

The returnees, who tested negative for Covid-19 before departure, are expected to self-isolate for 14 days according to the protocol of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

They are also expected to take another Covid-19 test before rejoining society.
