President Muhammadu Buhari’s social investment schemes including Npower are not for only members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Minister of Humanitarian and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq made this known during a press conference in Gausau, Zamfara state capital.
According to the Minister, poverty does not discriminate against social, religious or tribal lines anywhere in the world.
She stated that empowerment schemes carried out by the Ministry of Humanitarian and Social Development cover every individual citizen irrespective of his or her political or religious inclination.
Farouq stated that states in Nigeria that are hundred percent controlled by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) still receive equal treatment as their APC counterparts.
She described President Buhari as a father whose care cut across all religious and political borders.
The Minister also assured Nigerians that the Buhari-led federal government is committed to offering every citizen fair treatment.
Meanwhile, registration for Npower Batch C recruitment is still on, the Federal Government social intervention scheme, N-Power, has said.
Naija News recalls that the Npower portal for 2020 Batch C intakes opened at exactly 11: 45 pm on Friday, 26th June 2020, hours after some applicants had already registered for the scheme as against the directive of the social intervention scheme.
N-Power had tweeted regarding Npower recruitment: “We are LIVE!!! Apply now on https://ift.tt/3eN6f5z. Stay calm and follow instructions carefully. When you are done, tweet at us with the hashtag #SuccessfullyAppliedForNPowerNG. We are here with you.”
