President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, June 2 sworn-in chairman and commissioners of the Federal Character Commission, commissioners of Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission and Federal Civil Service Commission.

Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, confirmed the development in a tweet on his microblogging site account a few moments ago.

Naija News understands that the swearing took place at the Council Chambers, State House, Abuja.

He tweeted; “@MBuhari swears-in of chairman and commissioners of the Federal Character Commission, commissioners of Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission and Federal Civil Service Commission today at the Council Chambers, State House, Abuja.”

Muheeba Dankaka was sworn in as the new Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

President Buhari also sworn-in six Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), including Gboyega Oladele, from Osun State.

Also, four new Permanent Secretaries and two members of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) were administered the oath of office. Naija News understands that President Buhari also commissioned 36 members of the FCC commission.

Their names include; Henry Ogbulogo (Abia), Salihu Bello (Adamawa), Dorah Daniel (Akwa-Ibom), Ibeabuchi Uche, (Anambra), Mohammed Tijjani, (Bauchi), Tonye Okio (Bayelsa) and Silas Macikpah (Benue).

Others in the list are; Abba Ali Monguno (Borno), Nsor Atamgba (Cross River), Alims Agoda (Delta), Tobias Chukuemeka (Ebonyi), Imuetinyan Festus (Edo), Sesan Fatoba (Ekiti), Ginika Tor (Enugu). Hamza Mohammed (Gombe), Diogu Uche, (Imo) and Lawan Ya’u Roni (Jigawa).

Also sworn-in were Hadiza Muazu (Kaduna), Mohammed Na’iya (Kano), Lawal Garba (Katsina), Abubakar Atiku Bunu (Kebbi), Idris Bello (Kogi), Are Bolaji (Lagos), Nasir Isa Kwarra (Nasarawa), and Suleiman Barau (Niger).

Also sworn in are; Abiodun Akinlade (Ogun), Olufemi Omosanya (Ondo), Adeoye Olalekan (Osun) Adeniyi Olowofela (Oyo), Stephen Jings (Plateau), Wokocha Augustine (Rivers), Abdullahi Tafida (Sokoto), Alhaji Armaya’u Abubakar (Taraba), Jibril Maigari (Yobe), Sani Garba (Zamfara) and Adamu Sidi-Ali (Federal Capital Territory).

This is coming three days after Naija News reported that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).
