The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi on Tuesday reappointed aides sacked by the Governor, Romiti Akeredolu.
Naija News reports that hours after sacking Allen Sowore, Special Assistant on New Media to the Deputy Governor, Akeredolu also dismissed Ajayi’s Chief Press Secretary, Babatope Okeowo alongside five other aides of the Deputy Governor and his wife.
The Names of the five aides that were dismissed are Mr. Olumo Bayo, Special Assitant on Special Duties, Mr. Olawale Abolade Mukaila, Special Assitant on Photography, Mr. Samuel Ogunmusi Personal Assitant to the Deputy Governor, Mr. Omotunmise Tokunbo, Special Assitant to the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mr. Erifeyiwa Shola Akinnugba, Special Assitant to the Wife of the Deputy Governor (Photography).
But speaking in a telephone call with Daily Post, Babatope Okeowo revealed that Agboola Ajayi had reappointed all the aides sacked by Akeredolu.
“Yes, it is true that the governor announced our sack, but there is no cause for alarm, as we have been reabsorbed by the Deputy Governor,” he said.
