Part of the Ghanaian capital, Accra (6 km from “Gbawe, Ghana”) was struck by a moderate earthquake on the night of Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at around 10.53 pm.
This seismic activity seems to be getting closer and closer to date. The last before that of today occurred on Sunday, January 13, 2019, around 5:01 pm when an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 was recorded. Before that, it was December 9, 2018, around 7:50 a.m. when the earth trembled in the land of Kwame Nkruma.
The extent of the damage is not yet known.
