CAUSES OF WAR: “FULANIZATION’S” WAR OF ATTRITION FOR CIVILIZATION……AND THE PATTERN OF WORLD WAR 1.
“Herdsmen have declared war on Nigeria, says Wole Soyinka” https://ift.tt/2JYyz6E
(The Punch reported in 2018)
INTRODUCTION: FULANIZATION AND ISLAMIZATION
What is happening in Nigeria is tactical; a war of attrition as a tactical intent of a larger civilization intent …the signs abound for those with eyes to see.
- J. M. Muffett in his 1982, Hudahuda book published in Zaria (being the account of the two coups in 1966), he titled: “Let Truth Be Told The Coups d’Etat of 1966” wrote the following on the 80th page of the book.
“In Saudi Arabia, on receipt of the news of the Sardauna’s murder, the Salatu Raga Ibu (Prayer of Mourning) was performed in Mecca on his behalf for the second time only in the history of Islam, the first occasion being during the Prophet’s lifetime when news was received of the death of a King of Habbashiya (= Abbyssinia = Axum) and the prayer was ordered by the Prophet himself. This time, it was ordered by King Faisal. The Sardauna, be it remembered, was a Vice President of the World Islamic Congress.”
Analysis:
The exclusive Salatu Raga Ibu (Prayer of Mourning) for Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto, is the concrete proof OF ISLAMIZATION and FULANIZATION, that has since evolved to include RUGA
Observation: “D. J. M. Muffett Formerly of the Nigerian Administrative Service, a Research Fellow of the Centre for International Affairs, Harvard University and a Professor of African Studies, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.”
ATTRITION WARFARE
“Attrition warfare is the term used to describe the sustained process of wearing down an opponent so as to force their physical collapse through continuous losses in personnel, equipment, and supplies or to wear them down to such an extent that their will to fight collapses.”Nicholas Murray

WORLD WAR 1
American History teacher Martin H. Kelly in his article: “5 Key Causes of World War I”, provides the basis for analysis of our present situation in Nigeria.
World War 1 was fought between 1914 and 1918. A world war happens when either multipolar or bipolar powers take up arms to defend and or advance their respective vital interests against themselves.
Multipolarity: “(Government, Politics & Diplomacy) a distribution of power between three or more countries, alliances, parties, etc”https://ift.tt/2JV9wSa
The initial name of World War 1 was, “The Great War”, for never before in human history had multipolar interests clashed at such a scale. It was a war between Central powers and Allied powers…..the Allies won!
“During the conflict, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (the Allied Powers).”https://ift.tt/2yRCMGs
The result? The world order changed, all empires; Austria-Hungary, Ottoman varnished and the British empire was weakened to the Commonwealth.
My late Father’s book (dated 1960; Cheltenham acquired as a student) authored by Alfred Zimmern, and titled: “The Third British Empire” whose preface was dated August 31, 1927, captured history in perspective this way:
“In 1914 there were numbered among the world’s sovereign states a British Empire, a German Empire, a Russian Empire, an Ottoman Empire, and an Austro-Hungarian Monarchy presided over by an Emperor. London, Berlin, St. Petersburg (as it was then still called), Constantinople, and Vienna were all centres of empire. To-day there is a German Republic, an Austrian Republic, a Turkish Republic, and a Federation of Republics on the old Russian soil. But there still remains a British Empire”
Zimmern would add:
“The British Empire is the largest single political community in the world”
Volume 1 of Grolier Library of World War 1, titled: “The Causes Of The War”, captured Britain’s glory this way: “A fading empire Before 1914 every British schoolchild could colour vast regions of the globe red. That was the color maps used to mark the territories of the British empire, the greatest in history.”
Present realities have rubbished Zimmern’s 1927 claims, reducing the British Empire to the Commonwealth.
CIVILIZATION built around empires had come to an end with the Armistice of 11 November 1918 and was buried off at “funeral” called the treaty of Versailles.
“Treaty of Versailles, peace document signed at the end of World War I by the Allied and associated powers and by Germany in the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles, France, on June 28, 1919; it took force on January 10, 1920.”https://ift.tt/2JV9ycK;https://ift.tt/2iAxExZ
“COINCIDENCE OF CHANGES” THE SIGN POSTS OF EVOLUTION
David Thompson on his part traced the beginning of the end of the British Empire to the 1870s.
On the 166th page of Pelican’s 8th edition of the History of England, which he authored and titled: “England in the Nineteenth Century (1815-1914)”, published in 1960, in which Thompson wrote:
“Since 1815 British investors had achieved the remarkable feat of exporting a net capital surplus totalling about 500 million pounds, mostly during the years 1850-73….. From 1875 onwards income and capital tended to be withdrawn…… This coincidence of changes in British powers of expansion with the great changes in the International balance of powers makes the 1870s a real turning point in her fortunes. It was the prelude to the twentieth century, when she had to confront a new world seething with new forces, all challenging her old position. Her adjustment to meet these challenges, culminating in the First World War of 1914”
Nigeria is in a “coincidence of change”, a transition.
The point is, Empires rise and fall
The questions are:
- Is there a “FULANI Empire” in the works?
- Based on the British example, what stage is the FULANI dominion at?
- Should the present war of attrition go on unhindered, what would the scenario be in twenty years time?
- Britain’s downward turning point was in the 1870s. Will Nigeria’s “coincidence of change”, turn out to be the period between 2015 and 2023, in favour of the FULANI, in which Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the catalyst that facilitated the process by his paradigm shift away from the Strategic thinking of Awolowo who tried to assemble the other ethnic nationalities to confront the Sokoto caliphate to tactical thinking S. L. Akintola and his second fiddle disposition?
KELLY’S FIVE CAUSES OF WORLD WAR 1:
Martin Kelly identifies five causes of World war 1, the Fulani expansionism has a lot in common with them:
- ” Mutual Defense Alliances……”These treaties meant that if one country was attacked, the allied countries were bound to defend them.
- Imperialism…..”Imperialism is when a country increases their power and wealth by bringing additional territories under their control”
- Militarism……”As the world entered the 20th century, an arms race had begun, primarily over the number of each country’s warships, and the increasing size of their armies”
- Nationalism……”Nationalism in many of the countries throughout Europe contributed not only to the beginning but to the extension of the war across Europe and into Asia.”
- Assassination
https://ift.tt/2K0gBRp
Assassination in a more tactical sense is a DECAPITATION STRIKE.
DECAPITATION STRIKE
“A decapitation strike is a military strategy aimed at removing the leadership or
command and control of a hostile government or group. The strategy of shattering or defeating an enemy by eliminating its military and political leadership has long been utilized in warfare.”
https://ift.tt/2XVwcvt
In tactical conflict deployment, decapitation strike is the deployment of a sniper to neutralize the commander of an armed unit who is custodian and “centre of influence” of command, control, and communication. The bible defines decapitation strike aptly this way as….. strike the shepherd the sheep will scatter.
“And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.”Mark 14:27 KJV.
“Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.”Zechariah 13:7 KJV.
Deployed against a custodian of vital interest, is an express call to war!
The elimination of Ahmadu Bello was the decapitation strike that led to the civil war.
Once an individual who is the custodian of vital interest is killed war has been declared, in principle, that was what happened on June 28, 1914, when 19-year-old Gavrilo Princip shot and killed the Archduke of the Austro-Hungarian, Franz Ferdinand.
To Martin Kelly list I would add two additional causes of World War 1, they are:
6 DISREGARD FOR THE TREATY OF LONDON OF 1839
“The Treaty of London of 1839 was a treaty signed on 19 April 1839 between the European great powers, the United Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Belgium. It is also known as the First Treaty of London, the Convention of 1839, and the London Treaty of Separation…
The most important part of the treaty was that Belgium should always be neutral. Also, those who signed the treaty would have to protect Belgium if it was attacked.” https://ift.tt/2JUi5MP
Historian, Martin Gilbert on the 331st and 332nd pages of his William Morrow and Company, Inc, 1997 New York published book, he titled: “A History Of The Twentieth Century Volume One 1900-1933” wrote:
“On August 3 the German army moved across the Belgian border at five separate points… Britain’s ultimatum could no longer be delayed. The Germans must respect Belgian neutrality, the British government warned Berlin on the morning of August 4, or Britain would declare war. It would do so according to the Treaty of 1830, an eighty-four-year-old diplomatic document and solemn pledge, in which Britain and Prussia had been among the Powers acknowledging Belgian independence, which had been endorsed in writing in 1870. A formal assurance from Germany, sent through the ambassador in London, promising that Germany would not ‘under any pretext whatever’ annex Belgian territory, was ignored.
……The British ultimatum was due to expire at eleven o’clock on the evening of August 4. Ignoring it, the German army continued to advance through Belgium. At eleven o’clock precisely the British government declared war on Germany. By midnight, five European empires were at war: Austria-Hungary against Serbia and Russia; Russia against Austria-Hungary and Germany; Germany against Russia, France, Belgium, and Britain; France against Germany, and Britain against Germany”.
7 COMPROMISED VITAL INTEREST as a cause of war
KELLY’S FIVE POINT LIST AND THE FULANI
With respect to NIGERIA
1 FULANI AND MUTUAL DEFENSE ALLIANCES.
EL-RUFAI’S PAYMENT OF FULANI AND THEIR SUSTAINED ATTACKS
“We’ve paid some Fulani to stop killings in Southern Kaduna – El-Rufai”
“State Governor Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has said his government has traced some violent, aggrieved Fulani to their countries and paid them to stop the killings of Southern Kaduna natives and the destruction of their communities saying that the renewed violence is carried out by bandits.”
https://ift.tt/2XWBbf7
2 FULANI IMPERIALISM BY LEBENSBORN and LEBENSRAUM manifesting as SETTLEMENT ANNEXATION.
Imperialism is:
“a policy of extending a country’s power and influence through colonization, use of military force, or other means.”Google
“LESBENSBORN means the superior race….LEBESRAUM means living space” both were core values of Hitler’s political-economic system called Fascism, executed through NAZISM, the doctrine of Hitler’s NAZI party.
Marie-Therese Nanlong reported in the Vanguard, the following:
“According to a document obtained by Saturday Vanguard, showing the various attacks in the area, over 54 communities have been taken over by the invaders which many of the occupied communities renamed. The occupied communities include Rotchun (aka Rafin Acha), Dankum (renamed Mahanga), Hywa (renamedLugere), Fass (renamed Tafawa), Davwak, Chwelnyap, Lyoho Dakar, and Angwan Dalyop which were all attacked Between September 7 and 10, 2001 with the original inhabitants displaced.”https://ift.tt/2lLlXnS
3 FULANI MILITARISM:
“Global Terrorism Index: Nigerian Fulani militants named as fourth deadliest terror group in world”https://ift.tt/2XUpDt2
That was in 2015!
“Global terrorism report 2018: Nigeria remain for number three position for kontris wia terrorism plenti”BBC
https://ift.tt/2JXzKmK
4 NATIONALISM:
The armed attacks by Fulani terrorist, on ethnic nationalities in Nigeria covertly by armed groups and overtly by RUGA, amounts to a call to war!
5 ASSASSINATION: FROM HRM AKAEZE EDWARD OFULUE III TO PA REUBEN FASORANTI’S DAUGHTER
Philips Sunday, a Senior Content Creator at Naija News reports:
“Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of Afenifere chairman, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, has been killed by persons suspected to be herdsmen, the Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, has said.”
“HRM Akaeze Edward Ofulue III, abducted 19 days ago at about 4.00 pm, on January 5, 2016, by suspected Fulani herdsmen, was discovered stone dead 15 days after the creepy incident.“https://ift.tt/2XXl6pI
No Justice has been done nor seen to be done!
The FULANI have met Martin Kelly five causes of war, essentially by attrition warfare.
GERMAN DISREGARD FOR THE TREATY OF LONDON OF 1839 AND FULANI ABUSE OF ECOWAS PROTOCOL ON FREE MOVEMENT
Just the way the Germans were the pre World War 1 aggressors invading Belgium by disregarding the Belgium treaty and again were the pre World War 2 aggressors who invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, and again disregarded the June 1919 – Jan 1920 Treaty of Versailles.
The FULANI by the evidence of Professor Zacharys Anger Gundu, ABUSED the
protocol:
PROTOCOL A/P.1/5/79 RELATING TO FREE MOVEMENT OF PERSONS, RESIDENCE, AND ESTABLISHMENT
“Implementation of the First Phase:
Abolition of Visas and Entry Permit
ARTICLE 3
- Any citizen of the Community who wishes to enter the territory of any other Member State shall be required to possess valid travel document and international health certificate.
- A citizen of the Community visiting any Member State for a period not exceeding
ninety (90) days shall enter the territory of that Member State through the official
entry point free of visa requirements. Such citizen shall, however, be required to
obtain permission for an extension of stay from the appropriate authority if after such entry that citizen has cause to stay for more than ninety (90) days.”

Professor of archaeology; Zacharys Anger Gundu, who is the Chairman of the Governing Council of Benue State University and Pro-chancellor of the University wrote:
“Fulani herdsmen were listed by the Global Terror Index as one of the top four deadly terror rings in the world. They have an international vigilante active in every West African country called Tabita Pulaaku.
In Nigeria, the Udawa were in the vanguard of the first Fulani people to bear arms. As a transhumance group, the Udawa possibly infiltrated criminals and turned against their kith and kin …Records show that current President Muhamadu Buhari recognized the security challenge posed by the Udawa while heading the Petroleum Trust Fund, yet what the Nigerian military did was to push the Udawa from states like Gombe to parts of the Middle Belt normally considered as wastelands by the core North.
The Fulani of Nigeria have continued to take the country as home for the Fulani of the whole world using the ECOWAS Protocol on the Free Movement and Transhumance as a shield to move indiscriminately to graze cattle by use of force in the country. In parts of West Africa and Nigeria, these herdsmen are affiliated to Jihadi movements and have access to military grade weapons because of our very porous borders”https://ift.tt/2JT9CcV
Observation: The Fulani have gone beyond the 90 day window to take over host communities without “valid travel document and international health
certificate.”
