Ghanaian president, Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Naija News understands that Akufo-Addo visited the President in the afternoon hours of Wednesday at the State House in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
2. NSCDC Operatives Nab Boko Haram IED Logistics Supplier
Operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested a 24-year old man identified as Aliyu Muhammed, suspected to be the logistic supplier of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to Boko Haram insurgents in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
Naija News reports that the Commandant of the corps, Ibrahim Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest of the suspect in Maiduguri in a statement.
3. Leave Okorocha Alone, Reveal Your Plans For Imo State – Nwosu Tells Gov. Ihedioha
The Imo State governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the 2019 election, Uche Nwosu, has urged the state governor, Emeka Ihedioha to unfold the programmes he has for the people of the state and stop apportioning blames to the past administration.
The Governor who is only few days in office has since his swearing-in witnessed confrontations, lamenting on the difficulty in picking up from where his immediate Predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, stopped in the state.

Former Nigerian military head of state, Ibrahim Babangida, has expressed optimism and confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari would fulfill his promise to solve the security challenges plaguing the country.
General Babangida, however, added that for the President to be successful, he has to be decisive in his actions.
6. 2019 Presidential Election: How Buhari Defeated Atiku Free And Fair – APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari defeated Alh. Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election without any form of manipulation.
The party, speaking through a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu on Wednesday, said despite some 2019 election losses recorded in some states, the APC has improved significantly.

Mr Yekini Nabena, an All Progressives Congress chieftain, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the hit exchange of blames between the immediate past chairman of the party John Odigie-Oyegun, and its incumbent Adams Oshiomhole.
He made the call in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, in reaction to the ongoing war of words between Odigie-Oyegun and Oshiomhole.

According to him while addressing a press conference on Wednesday in Abuja, Gbajabiamila was never convicted anywhere in Nigeria or outside the country.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it has not set the national and general minimum cut-off marks for placement of candidates into the nation’s tertiary institutions as being speculated in some quarters.
The board’s Head, Media, and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), today in Lagos.
