9th National Assembly: Regina Daniel’s Husband, Ned Nwoko Denied Accreditation

The management of the National Assembly has refused to allow Ned Nwoko to go through the accreditation for lawmakers expected to be part of the 9th National Assembly.

According to information obtained by Naija News, Ned Nwoko, the husband of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels was at the National Assembly complex on Sunday but was denied accreditation.

It was gathered that Nwoko was stopped at the ‘White House’ lobby by the clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori.

Explaining his decision, Omolori said he (Nwoko) can’t be accredited or inaugurated because of the pending court case on the rightful winner of the Delta North senatorial district election.

Naija News recalls Nwoko and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi have a pending court battle to determine the authentic Senator-elect to represent Delta North senatorial district at the 9th Senate.

While Nwoko was declared winner by a High Court, an Appeal Court recently upturned the judgment and declared Nwaoboshi as the Senator-elect.

The ninth National Assembly is been inaugurated today (Tuesday).
