Buhari’s Rivers Of Rigging For Oil (3iv) By Amaso Jack

THE FOUR WITNESS ACCOUNT OF NORTHERN VITAL INTEREST

IN OFFICE BUT NOT IN POWER: MIYETTI ALLAH KAUTAL HORE

THE NEW KADUNA MAFIA AND THE PROGRESSIVES

“2023: Tinubu, Igbo will never be Nigeria President – Miyetti Allah declares National President”

“Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Abdullahi Bodejo, has declared that a former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will never succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

2023: Tinubu, Igbo will never be Nigeria President – Miyetti Allah declares

MIYETTI ALLAH KAUTAL HORE THE NEW KADUNA MAFIA AND THE STRATEGIC QUESTION

1 Who are they? The custodians of vital interest.

2  “The Miyetti Allah Kautal-Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association” http://bit.ly/2YCdl4q

3 Their Policy statement:

The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani has said the attendance of two governors from Niger Republic at the campaign rally of President Muhammadu Buhari in Kano State is lawful and within their rights

Governor Issa Moussa of Zinder and Maradi State Governor, Zakiri Umar, both from the Republic of Niger, had on Thursday joined the Kano rally in support of Buhari’s re-election,” http://bit.ly/2HrHiOW

4 Major General M. C. Alli’s Entry on Alhaji Maitama Sule

….. is captured on the 143rd  page of his 2001, Malthouse Press published book, he titled:

The Federal Republic of the Nigerian Army, The Siege of a Nation”

“Consistent with Alhaji Sule’s conclusions, Northerners therefore insist that the governance of Nigeria should be the exclusive preserve of Hausas or Hausa/FULANI, or Northerners…… Alhaji Maitama Sule, an elder northern leader from the Sir Ahmadu Bello School, has also postulated that by inclination, temperament and administrative skill, Northerners should rule Nigeria as a natural preserve and right.”

5 PROFESSOR FEMI AJAYI’S ENTRY ON ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA AND AHMADU BELLO

(At the time the article was written: he was in charge of the Political Science and Public Administration Department, of Babcock University, in Ilishan-Remo, in Ogun State)

“Ahmadu Bello said in Parrot Newspaper, October 12, 1960, “We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future……In 1947 Mallam Abubakar Tafawa Balewa said: “We do not want, Sir, our Southern neighbours to interfere in our development. I should like to make it clear to you that if the British quitted Nigeria now at this stage the Northern people would continue their interrupted conquest to the sea.” Prof. Femi Ajayi

The strategic Question:

Based on the evidence of Professor Femi Ajayi, what is the vital interest the Miyetti Allah Kautal-Hore seeks to protect based on

  1. Their assertion on Tinubu and the Igbo
  2. Balewa’s 1947 position and
  3. Ahmadu Bello’s assertion.
  4. Maitama Sule’s assertion.

PROGRESSIVISM

1 Hillary Clinton, in a CNN town hall meeting on February 3rd 2016, said, “a progressive who likes to get things done”. https://bbc.in/1S9uJaG

2 Encyclopedia Britannica, defines it as follows: “Progressivism, political and social-reform movement that brought major changes to American politics and government during the first two decades of the 20th century.” Sidney M. Milkis http://bit.ly/2gnI1lX

3 Tara McKelvey, BBC’s News correspondent to the White House, in her February 5th 2016 story she titled: “What does it mean to be a progressive in the US?”, wrote:

“Politicians, activists and others disagree about what the word means. Historians concede that there’s no precise definition. Still they say that in general a progressive fits certain criteria. A progressive is someone who wants to see more economic and social equality” https://bbc.in/1S9uJaG

Of the three, Hillary Clinton’s definition captured the essence of the Progressivism that is concentrated in South Western Nigeria

AWOLOWO; “ASIWAJU OF REMO”, THE PATRIARCH OF PROGRESSIVISM

Olufemi Ogunsanwo, on 186th page of his 2009, Pace Book (Lagos) in his biography of the sage, he titled: “Awo Unfinished Greatness”, wrote:

“Chief Obafemi Awolowo was the first politician of his generation to be installed by his peers as the Leader. (He was bestowed ‘Asiwaju of Remo’ in 1954.) On that historic day in Ibadan on September 1, 1966, even his erstwhile Political opponents joined with his admirers, obas, Chiefs, intellectuals and opinion leaders to endorse him in a historic vote for the high toga of Yoruba leadership by acclamation after they enunciated the ‘charter of Unity for the Yoruba people’ “….. Awo thus became the ASIWAJU of the Yoruba nation.

Hillary Clinton’s definition of “a progressive who likes to get things done”, is captured by Olufemi Ogunsanwo on the 13th page of the same book. this way:

“Chief Awolowo decided to launch his own Political organization with the assistance of his friends and he called it the ‘Action Group’s. As the name suggested, the party was to be an ‘action’ party in character and modus operandi. The Oxford Advanced Learner’s dictionary defines an “Action Group’ as: ‘a group that is formed to work for social or Political change”

Then on the 14th page of the same book he wrote:

“Awolowo set targets for his group and in its mission statement published on 24th April 1951, the party outlined its objectives as follows:

  • The immediate termination of British rule in every phase of our Political life;

  • The education of all children of school-going age and the general enlightenment of all illiterate adults and illiterate children of school-going age;
  • The provision of health and general welfare for all our people;
  • The total abolition of want in our society by means of any economic policy which is both expedient and effective.

…..Welfarism was the cornerstone of its programmes. Having been exposed to the Socialist programmes of the Labour Party in England”

Awo on the 225th page of  his 1960, publication by The Syndics of the Cambridge University Press, titled: “Awo The autobiography of Chief Obafemi Awolowo” confirmed what Ogunsanwo stated as principles:

“The basic principles which, therefore, have brought us together within the fold of the Acton Group may be stated in the following words:”

He however added the following on the same page of his autobiography:

“The basic principles which have brought the members of the Action Group together are summarised in the following motto:

FREEDOM FOR ALL, LIFE MORE ABUNDANT

It is our belief that the people of Western Nigeria in particular, and of Nigeria in general would have life more abundant when they enjoy-

(i) Freedom from British rule;

(ii) Freedom from ignorance

(III) Freedom from disease; and

(iv) Freedom from want”

Question: Chief Awolowo had a clear programme based on the vital interest of the South West.

What are Awara’s programmes based on the vital interest of the South South, beyond Personnel ambition that will vindicate him of suspicion of being a stooge of the vital interest of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore?

KADUNA MAFIA AND THE PROGRESSIVE 2023? THREE OPTIONS

“If Buhari wins the 2019 election, the power would certainly go back to the southwest. What has been put in place by northern leaders and the government? What preparation has been made for what will happen after 2023?” Shehu Sani http://bit.ly/2HnzU6W

If those progressives in the South West think their reincarnation of the strategic partnership between Akintola and Ahmadu Bello will get them the 2023 presidency, either with Tinubu, Osibanjo or Fashola at the helm, the closest they will likely get is Colonel Nyiam’s : “In office but not in power”. That will make the Buhari/Tinubu association a replay of Akintola/Bello a strategic blunder of anthropological value.

The three progressive 2023 options, most likely are:

  1. The worst: “Without Office and without power” Abdullahi Bodejo’s option. The National President, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and his road closed to presidency policy,
  2. The compromise: Colonel Nyiam’s : “In office but not in power”. If the progressive get office, they will end up without power: The implication? “In office but not in power” is an impotent presidency
  3. The best: A return to Awolowo West/Opara East arrangement.

BUHARI’S RIVERS OF RIGGING AND BIOKPOMABO AWARA

If the progressive of the South West with their vast “CRITICAL SUPPORT NETWORK” can be the victim of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore’s critical outburst against Tinubu, through Abdullahi Bodejo, its president who is Awara without, the Critical Support Network of a major political party to have pulled through?

Observation: “Critical Support Network” was coined by Max Siollun

It is not impossible, but the “probability odds” are vastly against him, consedering the fact that if Chief M. K. O. Abiola with his vast Critical Support Network, couldn’t get the presidency, who is Awara to insist on the vital interest of the South South against that of the North who would have installed him as a stooge?

Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has a formidable “Critical Support Network”.

If Awara Biokpomabo, is assumed to be committed to the vital interest of the South South in its state of opposition to that of the North who want to plant him as a stooge in the government house,

Will he use his inherited platform APC/AAC alliance to protect the vital interest of the region, by partnering with the vital interest of the North with the view of upsetting their goal?

If that was his intention he should remember they stopped Abiola with his vast Critical Support Network (which Aware doesn’t have) from becoming president.

While it is true the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) made their “Critical Support Network” available to Awara.

What is his strength of will to take a firm stand for the vital interest of the South South, against that of North, in the event of the inevitable clash of vital interests of the North and the South South with respect to oil?

“The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide has been drawn to the threat to the life of the AAC Gubernatorial Candidate in Rivers State, Mr. Biokpomabo Awara, by Governor Wike and his agents who are making desperate moves to eliminate Mr. Awara by all means in his bid to be re-elected as the Governor of Rivers State.” http://bit.ly/2YFozoP

The Vital interest of the Core North in Rivers was to install a stooge in the person of Awara in Government house Port Harcourt, using the army for the strategic purpose of securing the region for the benefit of their vital interest.

questions?

    1. Had Awara won whose vital interest would he protect the Niger Delta or the North in the face of pressure?
    2. Would he be a reproduction of an unpopular Akintola backed and supported by the North?

  • Would his emergence be the ultimate act of divide and rule in which the riverine and the Uplanders in the state would be pitched in a bitter struggle (to the point of a state of emergency), the right diversionary atmosphere for the core North to plunder the oil resources of the Niger Delta, while retaining the “exclusive rights of theft” of gold and other solid minerals as was the case in Zamfara, while the people are in a bitter struggle?

“Nigeria lost about N353bn in gold smuggled out of the country and sold in the international market between 2016 and 2018 without any revenue accruing to the government. However, illegal miners reaped the gain, investigation has shown.

Within the three-year period, about 18 tonnes of gold were smuggled out of the country and sold in the international market as confirmed by the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Alhaji Bawa Bwari.” http://bit.ly/2HqMUJ7

Observation: The strategic thing to do from the perspective of securing the vital interest of the Niger Delta, save from the expansionism of the vital interest of the core North, who are in desperate search for a stooge to install in government house Port Harcourt, using Rotimi Amaechi would be to:

    • Allow the present Uplander finish his tenure and ensure a smooth transition to the Riverines as it happened in Delta State, where the Uplanders took power for the first time after the Riverines had held it since 1999.

  • Factor in upland outsiders to the power equation specifically the Ogoni with the Riveriners; Kalabari, Okrika and the Bonny people, not excluding the Ikwerre and other equally important ethnic nationalities…a state government of “national unity”, under a leadership of a Riveriner.

VITAL INTEREST OF THE SOUTH SOUTH.

The vital interest of the South South are:

  1. Resource control
  2. Within the context of True Federalism
  3. Attained by a restructured Nigeria

To secure the strategic vital interest of the South South, from the expansionist vital interest of the core and their British colonial doctrine of ethnic divide and rule on one hand and the tactic of indirect rule on the other, deploying yes men who have no “Critical Support Network”, the South South must think ahead with “courage of will”

The PDP is an organization vast in electoral act of voter will perversion, though the more popular party in the state (just like APC is in Lagos)  by the principle of the opposition being the face of democracy, the APC being the opposition in the state is the face of democracy there, and their accusations of rigging against the ruling PDP, must be considered!

AWO’S STANDARD FOR AWARA: IN OFFICE BUT NOT IN POWER, “AN AWOLOWO PRESIDENT OF A BRITISH COLONY”?

Ebenezer Babatope on the 14th page of his 1989 Friends Foundation Publishers Ltd, published biography, titled: “Awo’s Great Life Battles” wrote:

“The M15 official had come to discuss what he termed “an important business with Chief Awolowo.” In the discussion, the British intelligence officer told Awo that the British government would be prepared to offer all its assistance to Awo in his bid to become President of Nigeria on the condition that Awo signed a private undertaking never to tamper with British economic interests in Nigeria and to always consult the British government on all major policies to be introduced by his government.

Chief Awolowo told me that he was outraged by such proposals and he said he did not mince Words with the British man as regards the foolishness of such proposals. Papa told me he asked the man this question. “Are you planning to have an Awolowo President of a British colony?” He called off such discussion by putting it to the man that he (Awo) would abide by the clean verdict of the Nigerian people and would never accept to be a robot president of Nigeria that will be at the mercy of a foreign power.”

Question: By the law of substitution, if Awara was in Awolowo’s shoes and Amaechi in the shoes of  MI5 ( as the errand boy of vital interest of the North) does Awara have within him the gusts of courage of Awolowo to stand up to Amaechi not to talk of the Critical Support Network of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, in the event of being caught between the vital interest of the Core North and the Niger Delta?

The “Critical Support Network” of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, with respect to disregarding the anti grazing law by the Benue State Government is fresh.

“Again, Miyetti Allah leaders rise against Benue anti-open grazing law “http://bit.ly/2YCdmFw

THE SPIRIT OF IMPERIALISM AS A STRATEGY OF DOMINION

Interest is the soul and sole aim of politics, the individual would decide if the interest at play is vital (corporate interest) or vested (personal interest), if both he/she would determine which is more important..

The writer, Richard Reeves on the 574th page of his 798th paged, New York published, 1993  Simon & Schuster biography, “President Kennedy Profile of Power”, made reference to Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev’s definition of imperialism this way:

The year was 1963, the occasion was the nuclear negotiations between the United States and Russia. Reeves wrote:

“The Soviet premier personally opened the negotiations on July 15 in Spiridonovka Palace. He called Harriman ‘the imperialist,”jokingly, then gave the joke a sharp edge: ‘There are many capitalist who only deal with matters in their own country, whereas an imperialist is a capitalist who interferes in other people’s affairs, as you are in South Vietnam.”

Buhari’s decision to interfere in the elections in Rivers State using the army by rigging ( as was established in the very first part) added to Balewa’s 1947 statement on expansionism, by the core North amounts to imperialism, by Buhari, and his formula of nepotism of 97% to 5% designed to secure the vital interest of the core North.

“President Buhari looked at Dr. Baker and said, “I hope you have a copy of the election results. The constituents, for example, gave me 97% [of the vote] cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with constituencies that gave me 5%.”http://saharareporters.com/2015/07/25/buhari’s-statement-us-institute-peace-made-everyone-cringe-0

Dare Adekanbi in his March 17, 2019 account in the Tribune, made reference to Mr Olufemi Aduwo: “the president of Right Monitoring Group (RMG), which is a coalition of 45 civil society organisations. He is also the executive director of the Centre for Convention of Democratic Integrity (CCDI)”

Mr Aduwo said:

“But what we saw in the election were soldiers that turned themselves into an army of occupation and became openly partisan. The military sided with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in some parts of the country during the election. In some strategic states, the military personnel were the ones making signs to the politicians about which party the electorate were voting for. ……. It is an embarrassment that the army, which is supposed to be a federation security outfit that is not partisan, was turned into an army of occupation in the last elections…. The people of Rivers had been shouting and decrying the military occupation of their state for days before the elections.”http://bit.ly/2HtLyxr

Professor Femi Ajayi, in his article titled: “THE QUESTION OF MENTAL DISLOCATION OF SOME NIGERIAN LEADERS AS NIGERIA CLOCKS 51″quoted Balewa this way:

“In 1947 Mallam Abubakar Tafawa Balewa said: “We do not want, Sir, our Southern neighbours to interfere in our development. I should like to make it clear to you that if the British quitted Nigeria now at this stage the Northern people would continue their interrupted conquest to the sea.“http://bit.ly/2D9eJDh

The failed 2019 rigging attempt by Buhari (and his refusal to neither remove nor redeploy the Major-General Jamil Sarham the GOC 6 division of the army of occupation, for an offence as grevious as Onnoghen’s) was a clash of vital interests between the people of the South South and the expansionism of the North, that sought to use rigging to impose a stooge.

From the perspective of the vital interest of the South South,  and beyond the partisan differences of APC and PDP and their common denominator of rigging, Governor Wike for all his faults has demonstrated “courage capacity” to stand up to the Hawks of the core North, their vital interest and their Critical Support Network.

The strategic question is, had Awara won, would he have the “courage capacity” of Awolowo in the face of M15, Tinubu in the face of Obasanjo and Wike in the face of Buhari to protect the vital interest of the South South from the North who wanted him rigged in as a stooge for their vital interest?
