Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Morihanfen Oluwaseun Oluwabamidele, fondly known by his stage name as Sean Tizzle has spoken on reports making the rounds that he is considering quitting music.
Naija News understands that the Nigerian artiste denied quitting music, while also explaining why many people think he has taken the step to end his music career.
In a chat with Showtime, the artiste took out time to explained why it seemed like he had quitted music.
The artiste who had been away for a while spoke on his plans to return fully into the music scene.
Its been a while since Sean Tizzle released a track, featured in one or held a show; a development that has sparked the rumour that the artist is no longer interested in the Nigerian music industry anymore.
While debunking the earlier rumour, Sean Tizzle said; ‘A huge number of people tend to think I relocated or moved abroad; this was the mindset of a lot of people about me. I travelled for months on my US tour and also spent time working with other artists and producers. As an artist, I believe a change of environment is sometimes helpful for a creative person. I worked with Grammy award-winning producers and I was the first Nigerian artiste to meet and work with Tory Lanez back in 2016. To avoid irregularities one has to keep working and allow the music to speak for itself.’
‘I have always been in Nigeria; people just like to think I’m not in town. And I can’t blame them because of a lot of these people don’t know me on a personal level or know my schedule. I try to make myself available when I can and let out only what I want the public to know about.’
While speaking further on the expectations of his fans, Sean Tizzle said; ‘Like always, I’m about good music, my fans need to keep believing and supporting me, I will make good music and keep the love alive. Except for good music from me, maybe a body of work soon, I’ve been working with some really talented guys.’
