“After 25 years of serial sexual abuse and aggression against young minors, the day of judgment arrived for R. Kelly,” he wrote in a second tweet.

Avenatti also told NBC News: “After 10 months of work and providing overwhelming evidence to Kim Foxx and his team, we are very pleased that justice is done in this case.” As a father of two teenage girls, is particularly gratifying from a personal point of view. ”

These charges fall less than two months after the conclusion of a Lifetime docu-series on R. Kelly exposing allegations of abuse against the 52-year-old man.

R. Kelly has never stopped denying any allegations of abuse or misconduct over the years.
