Nigerians are out to vote for the candidate of their choice, however, the major contenders are the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari.
The Presidential race is between 71 political parties with some candidate endorsing other presidential candidates.
Voting is yet to commence at the polling unit 006, St. Stephen’s School, Ward E3, Eiyekole, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island, where the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will vote.
As at 9.47am, the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission were still setting up the polling unit, with voters patiently waiting to cast their vote.
The 22 other polling units Ward E3 are experiencing the same as elections materials are just being moved from the Registration Area Centre at At. Stephen’s school to the different polling units.
