Air Force Helicopter Crashes In Boko Haram Combat
A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter providing close air support to troops of 145 Battalion at Damasak in Northern Borno State has crashed in combat on Wednesday night.
The Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, made this revelation known in a statement on Wednesday.
IGP Idris Removes CP, 14 Other Personnel In Imo State
A reshuffle may be going on in the Imo State Police Command as the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has removed the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi and some other key officers.
The Police Boss also removed the three Deputy Commissioners of Police in the Command who were in charge of the Operations and State Criminal and Investigation Departments of the Command.

For Election Sake, Don’t Extend IG’s Tenure – PDP Tells Buhari
The Peoples Democratic Party has implored President Muhammadu Buhari not to allow the Inspector general of police, Ibrahim Idris, stay in office beyond his retirement day which is due on January 15, the IG’s 60th birthday.
