IPOB/ESN Reveals Its Plan Against Miyetti Allah’s 5,000 Jihadists Threat

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has asked the Northern region of Nigeria to get ready to receive men of the Eastern Security Network in the region soon.

The separatist in a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Sunday by its Director of Media and Publicity, Emma Powerful, said it will be launching the ESN in the Northern region of Nigeria soon.

Naija News understands that the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria had during the last weekend, threatened to deploy 5,000 men of its vigilante group to the South-East region to shield herders and their cattle.

Reacting to MACBAN’s declaration, the Biafran agitators said it was ready to resist the Fulani group, adding that their threat was an insult on Igbo land. IPOB described the security outfit for the South-East geopolitical zone launched two weeks ago by governors of the region as dead on arrival.

The statement read, “The attention of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra has been drawn to the threat by Miyetti Allah to deploy 5,000 jihadists to Biafra land to protect their cows and herders following the floating of Ebube Agu security outfit by South-East governors.

“We consider this utterance an insult to the entire Biafra and won’t tolerate it despite our grievances against the treacherous South-East governours and the political elite.

“The Miyetti Allah and their terrorist group should know that they shouldn’t play God forever. They are trying to provoke ESN and IPOB to take a drastic action. IPOB and ESN are running out of patience with their insults.”

Meanwhile, IPOB has in a statement earlier accused some politicians and government officials in the South-East alongside security agencies of planning to abduct some of its members, Naija News reports.
