‘Ganduje Is Under The Influence Of Alcohol’ – BNL Reacts To Igbo/Yoruba Minority Comment

The Biafra Nations League, BNL slammed Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for declaring that the Igbos and Yorubas are the minority groups in Nigeria.

Governor Ganduje is alleged to have declared in a statement earlier that northerners own Nigeria.

Reacting to the alleged statement, Ebuta Akor Takon, Deputy Leader of BNL and Director of operations BBS Media described the Kano State governor as a “goof smoker under the influence of alcohol”.

Takon described Ganduje’s comment as laughable, insisting that the North is not a tribe but a region in Nigeria. He reiterated that the Igbo is a tribe in the East, as well as Yoruba in the west, adding that the Hausa/Fulani are grouped together to make up part of the majority tribes and not the entire North.

Takon, though acknowledged the fact that the population of the northern region is more than that of the Southern region, but that it doesn’t make them a tribe.

BNL said the population of the Igbo is higher than Hausa because the Igbo is the largest single ethnic group of Bantu extraction in Africa, adding the Hausa is used to boost the population of the Fulani. He described Ganduje as “a bloody liar who ought not to be a Governor”.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has maintained that the decision to keep Nigeria united solely rests on the people.

Naija News reports that the wanted IPOB leader made this known in a post on his Twitter page on Friday. According to the pro-Biafra activist, one Nigeria cannot be forced by the tribalized Nigerian Army or any other foreigner.
