Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate For Today

The Nigerian naira again slightly depreciated against the US dollar at the close of the parallel market on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, closing at N476 to $1.

Similarly, at the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange (NAFEX) window, naira depreciated against the dollar to close at N394.67/$1 on Wednesday.

Similarly, the black market rate of the dollar to naira as monitored by Naija News on Abokifx shows that the naira closed at N476/$1 on Wednesday.

Despite the intervention of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the exchange rate is still being affected by low oil prices, dollar scarcity, a backlog of forex demand, and a shaky economy that has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari government on Wednesday approved 173 centres and 30 State government institutions for the National Identity Number, NIN, enrollment across Nigeria.

The Federal Government stated this in a statement released on the official website of the National Identity Management Commission titled, “Approved Data Capturing Agents (Digital Identity Ecosystem)”.
