Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Ogunleye, better known as Simi has taken to the social media to lament on how women are been ill-treated by some men.

The 32-year-old mother of one, in a series of tweets on her verified Twitter account on Tuesday evening, November 10, said it is heartbreaking what women go through nowadays.

She wrote; “Woman don suffer sha.

“The kind of shit I see/hear many women go through everyday could break your heart. It’s so bad that many women even think they deserve the suffering, BECAUSE they’re women. I mean “why else should I suffer this much if I don’t deserve it. My heart man”
