COVID-19: FG Releases Timetable, Guidelines For International Flights In Nigeria

NCAA Calls For High Vigilance To Prevent Ebola

The federal government of Nigeria on Friday released the schedule for the resumption of international flights in and out of Nigeria.

This follows the earlier announcement by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on the partial resumption of international flights as from 5th September 2020.

As previously reported by Naija News, only two airports are currently approved to resume international flight operations – the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, and Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

The timetable released on Friday by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in a statement signed by Captain Musa Nuhu, DG/CEO of the NCAA noted that the number of incoming passengers into Nigeria has been limited to 1,280 per day for each airport but there is no limit to the number of outgoing passengers.

Also, each operator has only one frequency on the approved day of operation.

Below is the full statement which also contains the schedule for each operator from both the Abuja and Lagos Airports.
