The Attorney General of the Federal and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, reportedly organised a wedding ceremony for his son despite restrictions by COVID-19 guidelines.
In a viral video on social media on Friday night, COVID-19 guidelines were not observed at the wedding ceremony of Malami’s son, Abdul Aziz who was caught on camera dancing with his new bride.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines prohibit events with over 20 persons in attendance but this was not adhered to as the number of guests at the ceremony surpassed twenty.
In the video shared by activist, Omoleye Sowore shows that physical distancing or the wearing of face mask were not observed.
The guests at the wedding ceremony were seen spraying Naira notes.
