Just In: Eight Rescued In Lagos Island Building Collapse (Photos)

Eight people have been rescued alive after a three-storey building collapsed at 20, Freeman Street, Lagos Island.

Naija News reports that the building at about 3 am on Saturday morning.

It was gathered that a yet-to-be-identified child died from the collapse.

This was confirmed by the Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye.

“Nine to 10 people are suggested to be living in the building. Efforts are on to rescue the remaining people,” he said.
