Villa Shooting: Aisha’s ADC, Escort Commander, Riot To Face Panel

The drama which ensued at the Presidential Villa on Thursday, June 11 between an Aide-de-Camp attached to President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha Buhari and a nephew of the president will be a forefront discussion on Monday (today) as the police management meets to address the disturbing incident.

According to reports, the police management will today seat to scrutinize the incident which led to a gunshot from the president’s wife ADC over the fear of exposing the family to dreadful COVID-19 disease.

Naija News understands that the First Lady’s ADC, Usman Shugaba, and other security agents attached to her had during the last week engaged in an argument with Sabiu Yusuf, a personal assistant and nephew to the President over the safety of the president’s family from the viral disease.

It was reported that Yusuf had recently returned from Lagos State to check on his wife who just delivered a baby. The president’s family, however, visited his home following his return to demand that he should proceed on self-isolation for 14 days, in a bid to avoid the possibility of the family contracting the killer virus.

The argument, however, turned sour as Shugaba reportedly fired a gun to threaten Yusuf out of the villa.

Reports emerging this morning has, however, noted that the affected security aides would not be restored to the wife of the President following the incident as the security aides would face a panel that would be set up by the leadership of the police, Naija News learnt.

Meanwhile, Aliyu Abdullahi, the spokesperson of the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has said he could not predict her feelings on the crisis rocking the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
