Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s government of Kano State has confirmed the death of two coronavirus patients in the State during the weekend.
The development was disclosed on Sunday night by the State Ministry of Health through its official Twitter handle.
The tweet read: “COVID19 Kano update as at 11:33pm 31st May 2020. A total of 4,735 samples of COVID19Kano were tested.”
“3 new cases of COVID19 has been confirmed in the state. 40 additional COVID19Kano patients were discharged with 2 additional deaths recorded. Residents are advised to adhere to social distancing rules and stay safe.”

Meanwhile, three new cases of the global pandemic were accredited to the state on Sunday night after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reports three hundred and seven new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The overall cases of the dreadful disease in Nigeria as at the time this report is given remain 10162, Naija News understands.
