The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has finally reacted to the disqualification of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki
Speaking on Channels TV in the early hours of today, Oshiomhole said the party followed its constitution in disqualifying Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
Recall that yesterday, Obaseki was disqualified from contesting in the APC primaries, ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Oshiomhole said the APC just followed party constitution
He explained that the party has a screening committee which turned out a report.
Oshiomhole said the report is subject to the appeal committee for anyone who chooses to appeal against the findings of the screening committee.
“The purpose of the screening is to take nothing for granted. And until they go through the appeal process, I as the National Chairman cannot comment on it,” Oshiomhole said.
