Death Of George Floyd: Shocking New Video Released

A new video of George Floyd’s arrest by the Minneapolis police was released to the public on Sunday.

The shocking images show a police officer who ignored the pleas of passersby who beg him to intervene.

“Are you going to let him kill him before your eyes?” one of the passers-by shouts at agent Tou Thao, as we see George Floyd inanimate under the knee of agent Derek Chauvin.

Agent Thao did not budge in front of the growing crowd, only making sure to keep them at a good distance making it impossible for them to intervene.

It was Ben Crump, the lawyer representing the family of Mr Floyd, who posted the video on Instagram.

Another person tried to beg the officer to check if he could still feel George Floyd’s pulse -this was towards the end of the approximately six-minute-long video as the victim is placed on a stretcher.

Chauvin, Thao and two other officers have since been dismissed by the Minneapolis police. The men face numerous criminal charges, including one for murder.

Seen by thousands of people around the globe, the tragic event sparked a veritable wave of protests around the world.

Warning: This is beyond disturbing, even harder to watch than the first video. “Get off of his neck! He’s not moving!” “You’re going to let him kill that man in front of you?” Tou Thao stood guard as Derek Chauvin MURDERED George Floyd … while witnesses of the execution tried to stand up for JUSTICE, tried to save George’s life! The protest of those bystanders, who refused to just stand by and let it happen, has reverberated around the world — fueling our protest against injustice and police brutality!! 8 minutes 46 seconds. The four ex-officers MUST be convicted of MURDER for this hideous atrocity! They MUST all be held accountable!! #icantbreathe #georgefloyd #justiceforgeorgefloyd
