The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a substantive Commissioner for Insurance/CEO, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
Naija News reports Mr. Sunday Thomas was appointed to replace Mallam Mohammed Kari, the immediate past acting commissioner for the Commission.
This development was confirmed in a Tweet on Sunday by Bashir Ahmad, social media aide to President Buhari. He wrote:
“President @MBuhari approves the appointment of Sunday Thomas as the substantive Commissioner for Insurance/CEO, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).”
“Mr. Sunday Thomas replaced Mallam Mohammed Kari, the immediate past acting commissioner for the Commission.”
