IMO Broadcasting Corp. Former DG. Stabs Wife To Death

A former Director-General of Imo Broadcasting Corporation,Sir T. C. Okere, has allegedly stabbed his wife of 50 years, Beatrice, to death.

Okerewas said to have fled the scene after the incident yesterday night.

70-year-old, Beatrice was a retiree of the Imo State Polytechnic in Umuagwo.

The alleged murder occured at the home town in Imerenwe, Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

Imo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu, confirmed the incident.

The spokesman also revealed the next line of action.

“It is true that the former Director-General of the state-owned broadcasting corporation TC Okere allegedly stabbed the wife to death this morning and the command will soon commence an investigation into the matter”, he said.
