Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has hinted in a recent tweet that the state has freed one of the COVID-19 patients recorded in the state after he had fully recovered.
Naija News understands that the state so far has discharged five Coronavirus patients as contained in the report recently released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Given updates on COVID-19 cases in Kaduna State a moments ago, El-Rufai tweeted, “Commissioner of Health Dr. @AMBaloni has announced the discharge of one more COVID-19 case.”
”This brings to five the number of patients discharged since 14 April 2020.
“She also confirmed that there are three new cases of COVID-19 in the state, all with recent travel history.”
Meanwhile, Naija News has reported the Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of nine Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients after testing negative twice for the virus.
