Coronavirus: List Of States With Confirmed Cases In Nigeria

The Nigeria Center For Disease Control on Friday, as at 11:30 pm, 24 of April confirmed a total number of 1095 COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.

NCDC in a post on their twitter account noted that 114 new cases were confirmed on Friday

According to the NCDC, 208 patients have tested negative to the virus and has been released, while 32 deaths have been recorded so far.

Meanwhile, this is the breakdown of states with confirmed cases across the country.

Coronavirus: 114 New Cases Of COVID-19 Recorded In Nigeria As Infection Passes 1,000 Mark

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday evening confirmed 114 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 1095.

In the new cases reported, 80 were in Lagos, 21 in Gombe, 5 in FCT, 2 in Zamfara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Ogun, 1 in Oyo, 1 in Kaduna, and 1 in Sokoto.

“As at 11:30 pm 24th April there are 1095 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 208,
Deaths: 32,” the NCDC tweeted.

Coronavirus: Lagos Discharges 10 Recovered Patients

10 patients who have fully recovered from the coronavirus infection have been discharged from the isolation centres by the Lagos state government on Friday.

This was confirmed by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a tweet on Friday.

Naija News understands those discharged were three females and seven males and they include 2 Indians, 1 Filipino, and 7 Nigerians.

They were discharged from the isolation facilities at Yaba and Onikan after they tested negative twice.
