The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has been suspended indefinitely by a court order.

Naija News learnt that Justice Danladi Senchi, of the FCT High Court in Jabi, Abuja gave the verdict on Wednesday, 4th March, 2020.

2. Nigeria Overtakes South Africa As Africa’s Biggest Economy

The latest dwindling of South Africa’s economy has had a negative impact on the foreign income of the country as it loses its leading relevance in Africa.

Naija News learnt South Africa slipped into its second recession in two years after the country’s GDP fell by 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019.

3. Boko Haram: Trouble In ISWAP Camp As Leader Kills Five Council Members

Five Shura council members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have been reportedly killed by the group’s new leader, Lawan Abubakar, also called Ba Lawan.

5. United States Places 7m Dollars Bounty On Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau

The United States government has promised to give out a whooping sum of $7m in reward, for anyone who has information that can lead to the arrest of the leader to the deadly terrorist sect (Boko-Haram) in Nigeria.

The Department made this known in a tweet posted by their official Twitter account. They also provided numbers to reach with any information anyone may have on the leader of the terrorist group.

Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan has become the new Head of Civil Service of the federation.

Naija News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari swore her in as the new Head of Civil Service after spending about six months in an acting capacity since September 2019.

Members of the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist group have attacked Damboa, the headquarters of a local government area in Borno State.

The insurgents arrived the community in large numbers and Hilux vehicles around 6:30 am on Wednesday and started shooting sporadically, some villagers narrated.

8. Police Surrounds APC Secretariat Following Oshiomhole’s Suspension

Police officers have stormed the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress APC

Naija News learnt that at least five patrol vans and an armoured personnel carrier (APC) were stationed around the secretariat.

9. Gunmen Kill Two In Madakiya Village In Kaduna South, Two Others Injured

Some yet to be identified gunmen on Tuesday, March 3rd attacked Matsirga village, a community in Madakiya, in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, leaving dead two persons, Naija News understands.

It was gathered that the gunmen had attacked the village on Tuesday night at about 9:25 with gunshots that scared residents.

10. Buhari Seeks FBI’s Aid In Probing Ex-Governors, Senators

Plans to involve the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in tracking relatives of former governors have been disclosed by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

This was announced by Prof. Itsey Sagay, Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption, yesterday at a PACAC meeting.
