Following the fast spread of the Coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 a global pandemic.
This was made known in a press conference on Wednesday at the organization’s headquarters in Geneva by WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

40 Security Operatives Guard Sanusi’s Detention Center In Nasarawa
Security was on Wednesday beefed up at the compound housing the sacked Emir of Kano State, Muhammad Sanusi II at Awe town in Nasarawa State.
Over 40 operatives of the Nigeria police, personnel of the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, were reportedly seen securing the compound.
