The Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah, had accused President Muhammadu Buhari of failing to act upon his promise to end Boko Haram insurgency on the country.
Speaking at the funeral mass of Seminarian Michael Nnadi at Good Shepherd Seminary, Kaduna, Bishop Kukah stated that nepotism and clannishness had taken over the military and other security agencies in the country.

ECOWAS Leaders To Invest $1billion Against Terrorism
The Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has finally agreed to invest a total of $1billion on war chest against terrorism and other security challenges in the sub-region and the Sahel.
President Muhammadu Buhari made this known during a high-level meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council on the State of Peace and Security in Africa at the 33rd African Union(AU) summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at the weekend. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has seized the travel documents of a former Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji over allegation #150 billion fraud.
The anti-graft body also seized the travel documents of the Abia State House of Assembly Speaker Chinendum Orji Eyinanya and Ogbonna Orji.
