The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Ayede power plant is currently on fire.
Naija News understands that the power plant is located in Akinyemi, Ibadan.
As at the time of filing in this report, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage is yet to be ascertained.
Recall that on Tuesday some houses and shops at Akala Expressway, Elebu area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital were gutted by fire.
It was gathered that the fire outbreak began from one of the shops along the road.
