Complete List Of CAF African Player Of The Year Nominees

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Sunday released a 30-man shortlist for the 2019 African Player of the Year award.

Naija News reports that Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah beat Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the prize last year.

2016 winner Riyad Mahrez, 2019 African Cup of Nations top scorer Odion Ighalo and Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey, are also in the running.

The CAF 2019 African Player of the Year award will hold on Tuesday, January 7 2020, at Citadel Azure, Hurghada, Egypt.
