Police Condemn Fresh Killings In South Africa

The South African police has condemned the brutal killings of two men from a village in Ga-Molepo in the province this week.

Naija News reports that the Police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo in South Africa, said the two men were accused of stock theft in the area.

The deceased were allegedly kidnapped by community members on Monday.

Mojapelo in his statement noted that the victims of jungle justice were taken to a community hall where they were severely assaulted before they were killed.

He said the two men were then set alight at a local high school.

The Police Spokesman revealed that a car which belonged to one of the men was found torched fairly close to the murder scene and their charred bodies were found on Tuesday, October 22 by the Police.

“The people who committed these vigilante acts will be hunted down and brought to book,” provincial police commissioner Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba said.

The Police, however, said no arrest has been made.
