State Governors Take Fresh Decision On Minimum Wage

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), says the consequential increments in the implementation of the N30,000 Minimum Wage Law would depend on the capacity of each state government.

Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Reveals What His Mother Told Him Before Her Death

The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says his late mother, Ugoeze Sally Nnenne Okwu-Kanu, told him to do everything within his powers to restore Biafra.

Kanu made this comment while reacting to reports that some people including monarchs, were pleading with President Muhammadu Buhari led-government to grant him pardon and allow him to return home to bury his late mother.

228 Inmates Flee As Flood Hits Prison In Kogi State

No fewer than 228 inmates have escaped from a medium federal correctional centre in Koton Karfe in Kogi State, north-central Nigeria after some parts of it collapsed owing to heavy flooding.

A report monitored on the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by Naija News, says quoted the comptroller-general of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), Jafar Ahmed, as saying this while speaking with journalists in Koton Karfe on Monday, October 28.
