Buhari Returns To Nigeria
President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has departed Sochi, Russia for Abuja Nigeria after participating in the maiden edition of the Russia-Africa summit.
During the summit, Buhari met with President Vladimir Putin of Russia in a bid to further strengthen relations in security, trade, and investment, and building partnership that will enhance Nigeria’s huge gas potential.
As earlier reported by Naija News, President Buhari during his visit to Russia amidst other engagements, secured a military partnership deal as well as an oil deal between Nigeria’s NNPC and Russia’s Lukeoil.
Buhari’s departure from Russia was confirmed by the presidency on Friday with the President expected back in Nigeria the same day.
