EFCC Denies Abba Kyari Ordered Oyo-Ita’s Probe

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied reports that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, ordered the probe of Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita.

Rumours had emerged that Oyo-Ita is been investigated because of the disagreement she had with Abba Kyari during the Abdulrasheed Maina saga.

FBI List: Ihedioha Denies Odionyenma Sponsored His Election

Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has denied that Chika Odionyema, one of the 77 suspected fraudsters listed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), sponsored his election.

Naija News recalls that the FBI in a press statement released in Los Angeles, California on Thursday by US attorney Nick Hanna, announced the arrest of 77 Nigerians in an ongoing investigation related to fraud cases.

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has described the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, as the most powerful southern leader in Nigeria.

Presidency Speaks On IPOB Declaring Buhari Missing In Japan

The Presidency has today noted that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has“nothing to do with President Muhammadu Buhari since he arrived Yokohama, Japan on Monday.”

Recall that Buhari left Nigeria yesterday, for Japan to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama, August 28-30, 2019.

New Minimum Wage: NLC Warns Buhari Govt

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has warned the Muhammadu Buhari-administration against further delay in the implementation of the new national minimum wage.

The Labour Union made this known in a communique by President, Ayuba Wabba and outgoing General Secretary Peter Ozo-Eson, it’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.

Group Ask Kwara APC Chairman, Bashiru Bolarinwa To Resign

The Kwara Youths Congress, (KYC), an umbrella body of youth associations across the state on Monday issued the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), Hon. Bashiru Bolarinwa, a quit notice, urging him to resign his appointment with immediate effect.

Speaking to journalists shortly after an emergency meeting held in Ilorin today 26th of August 2019, the Spokesperson of the group, Mr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, who read the resolutions of the group, gave the party seven days ultimatum to remove Hon. Bolarinwa from office.

Tinubu Wanted To Be Atiku’s Vice President – Ex-Lagos Deputy Governor

A former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Senator Kofoworola Bucknor-Akerele, says the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, wanted to be vice president to Atiku Abubakar in the 2007 general elections.
