El-Zakzaky: House Of Reps In Rowdy Session Over Shiites Leader

The House of Representatives has turned rowdy after a motion was moved by a house member calling for the release of Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, also known as Shiites.

Not less than 12 persons were reported dead after the movement protested in Abuja, on Tuesday, a reporter of Channels Tv was killed during the protest.

Protesting Shiite members on Tuesday clashed with some security operatives including armed policemen and soldiers at Banex, Wuse 2, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Naija News understands that the clash comes in about 24-hours after the group clashed with operatives of the Nigerian Police in Abuja; a development that left scores killed and several sustaining varying degrees of injuries.
