Senator representing the Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye, has provided video evidence to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the matters surrounding the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Melaye threw his weight behind the PDP and its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar who are insisting that INEC should provide the server which was used in the election that saw President Muhammadu Buhari as winner against Atiku’s will.
Melaye released the video evidence via his account on the microblogging site, Twitter on Saturday, June 15.
His video is against the claim by NEC, that it has no server.
The electoral umpire had in several instances, and again during the ongoing Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital challenging the outcome of the election, maintained that it has no server where results of the February 23 presidential election were uploaded.
The claims by INEC was a followup to Atiku and PDP’s request for the court to order INEC to allow them access to the said server.
But in his Tweet obtained by Naija News on Sunday morning, Melaye uploaded a video showing how the election results were transmitted through the Card Reader to the said server.
In his video, the lawmaker and Kogi state governorship aspirant captioned it as thus; “When they claim they don’t have a server show them this.”
