Rochas Okorocha, Imo state governor yesterday unveiled a statue of President Muhammadu Buhari in the state.
Buhari was to visit the state yesterday to commission some projects, amongst which a statue of himself is.
The statue was constructed by the Imo state government. However, the president’s visit was postponed as he hadn’t returned from Saudi Arabia where he performed this year’s holy pilgrimage.
However, pictures of Buhari’s statue yet to be commissioned have gone viral on social media and stirred reactions from Nigerians.
