A Kano State high court has declared the appointment and the installation of four new emirs by the Kano state government led by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as “null and void.” A report monitored on The Guardian by Naija News, says the ordered a return to status quo pending the hearing of the suit against the appointment of the emirs.
2. Tribunal Tells Atiku, PDP What To Do To Get Justice Bulkachuwa Disqualified
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has told the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to formally file an application asking the President of the Court of Appeal and chairman of the five-man panel, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, to withdraw. The tribunal gave the directive on Wednesday following the meeting the panel members held with lawyers appearing in the case.

The outgoing Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, on Wednesday declared himself “crazy.” The governor stated that the declaration came with respect to his passion to make the state better than he met it.
6. Abia APC Denies Endorsing Gbajabiamila For Speaker Of House Of Reps
In respect to the tussle for the leadership of the Ninth National Assembly, the All Progressives Congress in Abia State has denied the report that it endorsed the candidature of Femi Gbajabiamila for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. The party stated that it only supports the candidature of Orji Uzor Kalu for Deputy Senate President and Nkeiruka Onyejeocha for speakership position.
