An Osun State High Court sitting in Ede has fixed July 6th for further hearing on the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

The presiding Judge, Justice Ayo Oyebiyi gave the notice of
adjournment after the prosecuting team led by the Acting Solicitor

The ninth witness, a Division Police Officer in charge of Dugbe Police
Station, Osogbo, Mr Ogunkanmi Gbemileke, said he directed his

of test on the late Senator.

He explained that the police team moved all other necessary samples to
the police headquarters Osogbo after the pathologist had conducted

Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

He said one Oladipo Fabode brought a polythene bag to LAUTECHTH which contains used drugs, and later handed it over to him.

The witnessed stated that he didn’t participate in the autopsy but his men did thorough investigations on the corpse and presented a report to the coroner inquest.

Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara-led coroner inquest had recommended late
Adeleke’s personal Nurse, Alfred Aderibigbe, for prosecution.

The coroner held that the suspect administered a drug overdose on the late Senator, thus causing his death.
