The Oyo State Police Command has arrested two people in connection with the stealing of Five Hundred Thousand Naira at the car park situated at Oyo State Secretariat, Ibadan.
According to the report, the suspects had trailed the victim who drove a Lexus Jeep to Bureau of Physical Planning and Development Control within the Secretariat from a commercial bank she went to withdraw.
The victim which was aware that she was trailed after parking raised the alarm where she was hiding after the robbers broke her side glass to take the money.
The suspects who took to their heels after an alarm was raised were later apprehended by people around the premises.
They were later handed over to the police command in Agodi division.
He stated that one other person who was involved in the robbery escaped through the fence.
The police command Public Relations Officer in the state, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the arrest of the two suspects stated that they had ATM cards, telephones and a Lexus Jeep.
The suspected robbers were identified as Adebayo Ade and Ayo Bolanle.
Fadeyi insisted that the suspects were still under interrogation at the Agodi police station, Ibadan.
