BBC News Igbo has mocked Governor Rochas Okorocha for erecting a President Muhammadu Buhari-like statue in Owerri, in Omo State.
Sharing the photos on its Facebook page, the news medium wondered if the governor was never tired of erecting statues.
BBC wrote in Igbo, “It’s like Okorocha is not tired of erecting statues, who is he erecting for Imo people again?”
Rochas Okorocha was not issued a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Thursday, after he was adjudged to have forced the Returning Officer for Imo West Senatorial District to declare him the winner of the Feb. 23 senatorial election.
