Reacting to the position of Former President Olusegun Obasanjo to support his former vice President Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential ambition, The Federal government stated that the former Nigerian leader is at liberty to support any candidate.
The Federal Government said the former President “has every right to support anyone he likes,” adding that such right “is constitutional.“
The Presidency, however, experience confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari will comprehensively and squarely defeat Obasanjo’s anointed candidate.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, stated these at a media briefing in Abuja on Monday.
