Three suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps in Pandagori in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
The corps commandant in the state, Mr. Philip Ayuba, while parading the suspects before journalist on Wednesday, stated that they had been terrorizing residents of the environment for sometime.
According to NAN, Ayuba, stated that the operatives of the command arrested the suspects in their hideout in Pantogari town, following an intelligence report.
He explained that in the statement of the suspects, they revealed that they were in Pantogora to perfect their strategy to kidnap Alhaji Adamu Hassan while demanding N10 million as ransom.
He stated that the three suspects agreed at the end for N4 million, failure of which the victim would be killed.
The commandant also stated that one of the suspects had worked for the victim where 150 cows and 170 sheep were stolen from him. “All the three suspects confessed to the crime and would be charged to court after investigation.
“Exhibits found in their possession included a mobile phone with six sim cards of different networks,” he said.
