Juventus defeats Cagliari and continues unbeaten in Italian

Dybala and Cuadrado score, and CR7 goes blank in Juve’s triumph

Juventus continue without losing in the Italian Championship. At home, Massimiliano Allegri’s team did not give a show, but did enough to beat Cagliari 3-1 and retain their unbeaten record in running points. The goals of the match were marked by Paulo Dybala, Bradaric (against) and Cuadrado, in favor of the owners of the house, besides the Brazilian João Pedro, for the visitors.

With the result, leaders Juve reached the mark of 31 points, in a campaign of ten victories and a draw, while Cagliari parked in the 13, remaining in the middle of the table.

With Bernardeschi, Chiellini and Alex Sandro on their feet, as well as Croatian striker Mario Mandzuckic, with an ankle injury, the Old Lady went to the match trying to keep the same distance in the lead he had at the beginning of the round. Direct rivals Inter Milan and Napoli won their matches and put pressure on Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

In the next round, the legendary San Siro will host the clash between Milan and Juventus at 5:30 p.m. on the 11th of this month. On the other hand, Cagliari will visit the Spal at 15.00 the day before.

The game – The start could not have been better for Juventus. Practically on the first set of the duel, Bentancur started off at speed and served Dybala. The Argentine made the individual play, fintou two defenders with a single dribble and even slipped to hit with his right leg, but still beat the goalkeeper Cragno and opened the score.

After the try, the clash between the teams was balanced. Juve had higher offensive quality, but the visitors came to scare Szczesny’s goal after Pavoletti’s cross-hit.

It was Cagliari, incidentally, who played the game again. At 37, the Brazilian João Pedro used a leftover within the area, prepared the kick and hit low, with no chance for the Polish archer: 1 to 1.

Equality, however, did not last long. The next minute, Douglas Costa received a right-footed cross from the right. Striker Bradaric tried to cut the crossbar, but he ended up pushing the ball into the net, replacing Juve at the front of the scoreboard.

In the second half, the game was only interesting in the final minutes of the period. At 39, Bentancur missed a chance on his own to extend the lead, while Cagliari pressed for a draw. However, Cuadrado struck for the constituents and closed the rival coffin.

At 43, Dybala pulled Juventus counterattack and played in depth for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Old Lady’s shirt 7 found the Colombian in the big area, and this time, Cuadrado did not waste the chance: 3-1 and Juve’s guaranteed victory.
